Today was the last day of the trout season for me. Tomorrow, Tuesday, looks pretty shite weather wise and I just don't fancy fishing in the rain and wind. Not that today was any good anyway. A chilly overcast day in which I flung all manner of flies about and failed to elicit a take from anything. So here are some pictures of the beck.
Only six months to go and we start again.
I know the feeling, the end of the season was a wash out here. There is always next year!
ReplyDeleteWe all hope for great things on the last day and I don't why. To next year.
DeleteDon't worry. I only managed to catch 2 tiddly Perch yesterday and lost 4 Pike who refused to stick on the hook. A very poor result for 3 hours out 🫣
ReplyDeleteGood old non-stick pike. At least you made contact with some fish.
DeleteAm sure something in the next 6 months will keep you interested.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. If the rivers behave I shall be endeavoring to catch some grayling on fly along with pike.
